Membership 2010

Unfortunately we have just been notified that due to Triathlon Ireland experiencing some technical difficulties they are unable to offer us online membership until later in the year, therefore we will have to resort to the old fashioned way of “snail mail” All members do however have to obtain their Triathlon Membership the in normal way online in order to obtain their TI membership number. You will not be allowed to join Newry Triathlon club until you are first a member of Triathlon Ireland this is due to insurance reasons.
You can join TI either as a full member (50 Euros) or as an associate (5 Euros) – both levels of membership are acceptable. If you plan to compete in any more than 3 races then the full membership works out cheaper than purchasing one day racing licences’ (15 Euros each)
The procedure is as follows;
1.Apply online at http://www.triathlonireland.com/ for full or associate membership.
2.Complete the attached Newry Triathlon Club Form including your 2010 TI number and return to the address on the form.

Please note any forms not completed correctly will be returned.

3.We will then send you back a Newry Tri Club Membership card which will need to be shown at all club events and training sessions – no card – no swimming etc.

We would hope to have everyone signed up by the end of January when we will begin to check cards at admission to the pool etc. Our race committee is planning some early season races which again will require membership before you are allowed to compete.
