Some turnout last night for the first mini tri in the series. 42 competitors, which is double the amount that were racing last year. The results are posted in the attachment below. The bike time includes T1, while the run time includes T2.
Bryan McCrystal took the honours, with 1min 30secs to spare. The course record of Eamon McConvey (43.11) looked under threat, but maybe Bryan was saving the running legs for Saturday.

A reminder that next week sees the first of the triathlons and registration will be between 6.30 and 7.00
After the success of last years series and the demand for it to return, the Camlough Mini Series is back!
The series will consist of a handicapped swim, mini tris and finally an aquathon.
It will run over the next five weeks, starting on Wednesday 23rd with the handicapped swim, then running the following three weeks will be the mini triathlons. Finally an aquathon will be held on the 20th of August.
Ciaran Hughes and Ross are trying to organise a sea swim before Galway. Sean Scone Hughes has checked high tides for the weekend , there is a high tide Sunday evening at 8.10, Scone and Milo are meeting up at 6.30 in Carlingford in the water for 7.00. Stick a post up if your interested.

Next weekend in Galway is our club trip away. I think from the entry list I have counted 18 members competing so with there partners/families there should be a big crowd in Galway.
