If anybody is free on Saturday the organisers of the Cooley raid have asked Cathal Mc Greevy to see if we have any one available to help out with Marshaling duties.

Hi all,
would everyone interested in doing the Cross Border race please let me know as soon as possible so we can get an idea of numbers. This will be an excellent fun event, 400m swim, have a little rest, 10mile flat bike ride, have a little rest, 5k run, have a little rest, cup of tea and a sandwich

Great event for the first timer or novice. Please pass on the word at the pool sessions on Wed and Thurs.

On Saturday November 8th we are holding the first cross border triathlon between Newry Triathlon Club and Setanta Triathlon club. This is a fun event aiming to create a relationship between our two clubs. However it has great prizes which will be won by a wide range of athletes.

DATE: Saturday 8th November
Venue: Quinns Pub, Camlough
TIME: 8 till late

Well done to Ross Collins who won the 1st Bessbrook Duathlon on Saturday 27th September 2008. The young Camlough man held off very strong opposition to take the victory for Newry Triathlon Club. Well done to all the Newry Tri Club members who took part and put in a great display for the Club. Race Report to Follow.

As the seasons almost over or is already for some of us, its time to party. We are hoping to organise an end of season party in the next couple of weeks. Any suggestions welcome??. Last year we had a good night in bellinis drinks and dinner. Dinner does take longer and is harder to organise with trying to get numbers etc but it worked grand last year.
Drinks only, drinks and dinner, barbecue ,etc ????
